Can't believe I did it...

I absolutely HATE going to the movies! I mean for me, it just seems like a waste of time. I could be watching a game or at a game, reading a book, writing, you name it, I could be doing it. Anything but going to the movies. But then they have to go and make a movie revolving around sports, like Coach Carter. Well, you guessed it, I went to the movies!!! UGH!! First, I had to keep telling myself that it wasn't really a movie, just another basketball game on the big screen. LOL!!!! To my amazement I truly enjoyed the movie. I didn't even feel like I wasted 2 hours of my life. I even came home and recommended the movie to my parents. Funny, me, telling someone to go to the movies. I hope this isn't the start of something new for me....nah, I will not be going to any other movie anytime soon. Unless of course they go and make another real-life sports movie. Hahahaha.

Talk of the town

Just came back from dinner. Made sure the waiter sat me at a booth facing the tv screen since the Australian Open was on. Can't miss sports just cause I gotta eat.
My friend and I are so excited about the Eagles being in the Superbowl! Right now that is the talk of the east coast town. To T.O. or not to T.O. also seems to be a major topic. I say don't play because he could jeopardize his career. Also, why mess with a good thing? They have been ok these past couple of weeks without him. Don't get me wrong, I love me some T.O., but I would not want him to do more damage to his ankle. Wonder what others think????

Cool

I like the way this works. I will have to see what I can do to attract people to this blog. Maybe if I talk about the Eagles and the Patriots!!!! Go EAGLES!!!!!

So many topics

I was checking out the other blogs and there are so many topics out there. Good to see that people are interested in women's sports as well. Pat Summit and C. Vivian Stringer are my favorite coaches and most admired by me. LSU is fast becoming another of my favorite teams as well. My favorite athletes are: 1. Charles Barkley 2. Seimone Augusus 3. Dawn Staley 3. Allen Iverson. 4. Jevon Kearse. Not always in this order, BUT Charles remains at number ONE....ALWAYS!!!

First Post

This is my first experience with a blog. I just want to see how this whole web thing works.
